Since the early 1990’s, the Co-operative Housing Federation of Canada has offered a staff benefits program to member housing co-ops and other associates.

CHF Canada’s benefits program currently serves members throughout Canada. Together, they enjoy the cost advantages that come with the buying power of the larger, combined group, but co-ops retain the flexibility to choose their own plan design. The CHF Canada plan offers a wide selection of benefits that might not be available to members in the marketplace.

The Co-operators is with the insurer of all benefits, except the Employee and Family Assistance Program (EFAP), and Morneau Shepell provides the EFAP platform. Co-operators is a co-op too and has been providing co-ops their insurance needs for many years.
